Laissez Versez takes pride in each of our products. Ingredients are locally sourced. Our products are quality tested by a skilled team of Cajuns, Coon-a**es, rednecks, and transplant tasters.

About Laissez Versez

Laissez Versez aims to revive Bourbon-making in Louisiana by creating a high-quality local craft Bourbon with rich history and unique flavors. We prioritize using local ingredients and vendors, and take pride in being a part of the distilling community.

Our goal from day one was to create a quality Louisiana Bourbon that's easy on the palate. We do this by pushing the barrels past the traditional standard aging process to capture a Bourbon that's pleasant on the nose with strong notes of oak and vanilla- easy on the palate, with hints of caramel, and a long savory finish.

Recipes

Apple Pie

Granny's Apple Pie-tini

3 oz LV Apple Pie Liqueur
1 oz LV Cest Bon Liqueur
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Half and half
1 oz Brown Sugar Simple syrup
1.4 tsp Cinnamon
Crushed Graham Crackers
Caramel Sauce

Rim a chilled martini glass with caramel and dip into graham cracker crumbs. Fill shaker with ice, liquid ingredients and cinnamon. Strain mixture into martini glass.
Sour Apple-tini

3 oz LV Apple Pie liqueur
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
1 oz Lemon juice
1 oz Simple syrup
Maraschino cherries

Shake all contents and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with cherries on a pic.
Tootsie Roll

1.5 oz LV Apple Pie Liqueur
1 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz Chambod
1 oz OJ

Fill shaker with ice and all ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain over fresh ice in rocks glass or into shot glasses to share.
Jolly Apple

1 oz LV Whiskey
1 oz LV Apple Pie
Sweet and Sour mix

Fill rocks glass with ice and pour in LV Whiskey and Apple Pie. Fill remaining space with sweet and sour mix.

Blueberry

C'est Bon

C'est Bon Float

1.5 oz LV Cest Bon
6 oz Root Beer (½) can
Vanilla Ice-cream

In a tall glass pour in LV Cest Bon and root beer. Top with one big scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
C'est Bon-tini

2 oz LV Cest Bon Liqueur
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz Creme De Cacao
1 oz Half and half

Take chilled martini glass and drizzle Magic Shell on inside of glass. Allow to chill to set. Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake till chilled. Strain into martini glass.
Granny's Apple Pie-tini

3 oz LV Apple Pie liqueur
1 oz LV Cest Bon liqueur
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Half and half
1 oz Simple syrup
Cinnamon
Graham crackers

Rim a chilled martini glass with caramel and graham cracker crumbs. Fill shaker with ice, liquid ingredients and two dashes of cinnamon. Strain mixture into martini glass.
Tiramisu shots

Equal parts:
LV Cest Bon Liqueur
Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream
Frangelico
Whipped cream

Shake with ice and strain into shot glasses. Top with whipped cream.
The Nightcap

2 oz LV Caramenthe
1.5 oz LV Cest Bon
1 oz Frangelico

Pour all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass.
Cajun Coffee Cake

2 oz LV Wedding Cake
2 oz LV Cest Bon
1 oz LV Flambeaux
2 oz Rumchata
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
.25 oz simple syrup

Rim a martini glass with cinnamon sugar. Shake all ingredients together and strain.

Caramenthe

Cream of Caramenthe

1.5 oz LV Caramenthe Liqueur
Creme Soda

Fill tall glass with ice, LV Caramenthe Liqueur and top remaining room with creme soda.
The Naughty Elf

2 oz Laissez Versez Caramenthe liqueur
1 oz Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
.5 oz Creme de Menthe (green not clear)
.5 oz Simple Syrup
2 oz Half and half
Andes mint chocolates

Shake all contents and strain over fresh ice in rocks glass OR into martini glass. Garnish with shaved Andes mint chocolates.
The Nightcap

2 oz LV Caramenthe
1.5 oz LV Cest Bon
1 oz Frangelico

Pour all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass.

Coconut

Coconut on the Rocks

2 oz LV Coconut over an ice ball.
Mocha Coconut Latte

2 oz LV Coconut Liqueur
1 oz Godiva Chocolate liqueur
1 oz Cream of coconut
1 oz Chilled espresso

Shake all ingredients and strain over fresh ice or serve as a martini with glass rimmed with caramel and toasted coconut shavings.
Painkiller (The Coco-Loceaux)

2 oz Bacardi
2 oz Laissez Versez Coconut Liqueur
4 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Cream of coconut
Nutmeg
Pineapple

Fill shaker with ice and pour in all liquid ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain mixture into tall glass over fresh ice. Add a dash of nutmeg on top of drink and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
Bubbly Coconut

1.25 oz LV Coconut
2 oz Pineapple juice
2 teaspoons cherry juice
Prosecco

Rim a champagne flute with sugar. Pour in LV Coconut, pineapple and cherry juice. Fill remaining space with Prosecco.

C'est Bon BBQ Sauce
4 tablespoons (115 g) unsalted butter
1 cup (125 g) finely chopped onion
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped 1 large can (7 ounces/199 g) whole chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped, sauce reserved
1 can (28 ounces/794 g) crushed tomatoes
3/4 cup C'est Bon
½ cup (120 ml) ketchup
1 cup black strong coffee
¼ cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar ¼ cup (55 g) brown sugar Salt and black pepper
C’est Bon Balls!
2-1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
1 cup ground pecans
1 cup powedered sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1/4 cup c'est bon
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons water

Mix together wafer crumbs, pecans, powdered sugar and cocoa. Combine c'est bon, honey and water; stir into crumb mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in additional powdered sugar or wafer crumbs. Store in air tight container. Enjoy!

Flambeaux

Cajun Mule

3 oz Laissez Versez Flambeaux Liqueur
2 oz Laissez Versez Whiskey
Lemonade
Ginger Beer
Lime

Pour all ingredients over ice in a copper mug. Squeeze one lime wedge and toss. Garnish with one lime wedge.
The Burning Man

Equal parts LV Flambeaux, LV Whiskey and Godiva over ice.
Bloody Couyon

2 oz Flambeaux
Bloody Mary mix
Tony’s seasoning

Rim a glass with Tony’s and shake Flambeaux with your favorite bloody mary mix.
Mangeaux

2 oz LV Flambeaux
Snapple Mango tea

In a tall glass of ice add measured LV Flambeaux and remaining space with Snapple Mango tea.
Cajun Coffee Cake

2 oz LV Wedding Cake
2 oz LV Cest Bon
1 oz LV Flambeaux
2 oz Rumchata
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
.25 oz simple syrup

Rim a martini glass with cinnamon sugar. Shake all ingredients together and strain.

Strawberry

Berry Mojito

3 oz White rum
1.5 oz LV Strawberry or Blueberry liqueur
1.5 oz Lime juice
1 oz Simple syrup
10 mint leaves
Handful of berries
Club soda

In a shaker, muddle mint leaves and berries with simple syrp. Fill shaker with ice, rum, LV berry liqueur and lime juice and shake until chilled. Fill tall glass with fresh ice and strain mixture over it. Fill remaining space in glass with soda water. This recipe works well with either LV Strawberry or Blueberry or even mixed together if you’re feeling extra special.
Ladybug

2 oz LV Strawberry Liqueur
1 oz Absolut Pear
1 oz St. Germaine
Brut Champagne

Add all ingredients to shaker filled with ice and chill. Strain over fresh ice in rocks glass and top with Brut Champagne.
Ponchatoula Cake

2 oz LV Strawberry Liqueur
1 oz Frangelico
1 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
Splash of Grenadine (for color)

Fill shaker with ice and all ingredients. Shake until chilled and strain in small size martini glass. (Muddle a couple strawberries before adding ice and ingredients if you want even more color and texture.)
Strawberry Margarita

3 oz Reposado tequila
1.5 oz Laissez Versez Strawberry Liqueur
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz Agave nectar
2 oz Lime juice
Strawberries
Limes

Prepare large glass rimmed with salt and fill with ice. Muddle 2-3 strawberries in shaker. Fill with ice and shake all liquid ingredients together until chilled. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with lime wedge and strawberry.
The Prowler

1.5 oz LV Blueberry
1 oz LV Strawberry
1 oz Vodka
.5 oz Pineapple juice
.75 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Grenadine
1 oz Cranberry juice

Pour over ice in a tall glass and stir.
Strawberry Shortcake

2 oz LV Wedding Cake
1.5 oz LV Strawberry
1.5 oz Godiva White Chocolate
1 oz Vanilla Vodka
.5 oz Lemon juice

Rim a martini glass with crushed graham crackers. Shake all ingredients and strain.
